Dr. Yiannis Pistolas is the newest member of Theocharides Dental Clinic.

Dr. Pistolas was trained at the European University Cyprus, School of Dentistry graduating in the second place with the highest honours Following his graduation, he immediately was offered a teaching position at the University's Department of Prosthodontics. 

​

With an unwavering commitment to excellence and a genuine passion for dentistry, Dr. Pistolas is actively involved in research with some of the papers he worked on already published in esteemed journals. He has also participated with presentations in scientific congresses both in Cyprus and abroad.

During his university years, he was a very active member of the dental student community and has served as the voted representative to the University's Senate for 4 years. He was also a founding member of the EUC Dental Students' Association organising and actively participating in multiple scientific lectures and workshops. His vision for advancing the field and fostering collaboration among dental students transcended national borders in 2018 when he successfully integrated Cyprus in to the European Dental Students' Association and has since served as the Delegate for our country participating in meetings around Europe, cultivating enduring connections and friendships with young dentists from more than 30 countries, while as of the summer of 2023, he was voted on the board of the Association as the Policy Officer.

Yiannis strives to offer the highest quality dental care by applying the latest evidence based techniques to achieve outcomes that seamlessly blend functionality and aesthetics. A true advocate of transparent communication, he dedicates time to thoroughly explain procedures to his patients, fostering a sense of understanding and comfort through a warm and welcoming approach. This commitment serves as a testament to his belief that dentistry plays a pivotal role in enhancing the overall quality of life for his patients.

During his free time, he finds joy in playing sports and socializing with friends and family. Adding a unique an artistic dimension to his life, he also enjoys dancing and holds a Diploma in violin.
