Dr. Christos Theocharides is the co-owner and principal dentist of Theocharides Dental Clinic.
Christos graduated in 2011 from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London. He then worked in mixed NHS and private practices and as a Senior House Officer in Restorative dentistry at the Royal London Hospital. During these years, Christos developed a special interest in aesthetic dentistry and Implantology and attended several courses to develop his skills.
In September 2013, Christos commenced his 3 years Specialty training in Prosthodontics (MClinDent, MPros Programme) at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry where he was trained to provide complex levels of treatment in full mouth reconstructions, smile make overs, veneers, crowns, bridges, dentures, implant placements, implant supported prostheses and splint therapy for Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD). During his clinical examination he received the highest grade achieved by a postgraduate, 93%. He successfully completed all his specialty exams and is now a UK registered Specialist Prosthodontist.
During his years in the UK, Christos worked in six private practices in Central London and also as a part-time Clinical Lecturer at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University. In March 2018, he was voted by the students and staff as the best clinical teacher in Dentistry for 2018. In July 2019, he moved with his family to Cyprus where he is currently working at his own private practice as a Prosthodontist and Implantologist and he teaches at the European University Cyprus. He still maintains his position in London as an Honorary visiting Lecturer.
Christos is very meticulous with his work and enjoys spending time with his patients explaining thoroughly the procedures and applying the latest evidence based techniques achieving the highest functional and aesthetic outcomes. He strongly believes that prosthodontics is one of the main areas of dentistry that can positively influence the quality of life of patients. As a professional, Christos is especially known for his aesthetic excellence and he returns smiles back to their functional aesthetic beauty. He finds it highly rewarding being able to improve patients’ quality of life and thrives on the challenges posed by complex cases.
He is actively involved with the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and has presented in a few of their conferences in the UK. He is also a member of the British Society of Prosthodontists and was part of the specialist panel in the British Dental Conference held in Manchester in May 2017. Furthermore, in July 2017, he was an examiner for the British Society of Prosthodontics (BSSPD) for the Early Practitioners examinations (MRD/MEndo/MPros/MPerio/ISFE). He is also an examiner for the dental undergraduate students at Queen Mary University of London and at European University Cyprus.

In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, travelling and socialising with his friends and family.
